This theme turned out so cute!

When picking out an outfit for the cake smash portion, keeping the outfit "theme appropriate" is key.

This session is a great example of that.

I get excited when mommas send me a picture of the outfit and it ties the whole thing together.

Some helpful tips when choosing an outfit:

Avoid words on outfits.

I know.. it's tempting to purchase those cute outfits that say something about turning one, have their name on it, what the theme is called, etc. But, the cake will probably hide/cut off words in all of the cake smash pictures.

Be prepared for cake to get on the outfit that you're child will be wearing.

Don't be afraid to think outside of the box!

If you have a space theme - try a cute astronaut costume

Toy Story theme - dress baby in their favorite character

Outfits don't have to be regular clothes. Costumes work great, too!

Bring on the themes!

I love seeing all of the fun inspiration photos that are sent in for one year sessions.

Themed sessions are created off of pictures that you send in.

After you send me your inspiration pictures, I'll put together my own version of your vision.

I can do as much or as little as you need for the planning process!

Some moms know exactly what they want. Others need a little more guidance.
