Newborn sessions, here at Bree Elle, are scheduled prior to baby being 12 days old.

Sessions are typically are held best between 7-9 days. 

This is what I have found works best for me and my workflow of posing.

Once baby reaches over 2 weeks, they don't always want to be posed like you see on my social media and website photos.

During your newborn session, I'll focus on creating a calm and comfortable environment for baby.

The studio is kept warm since baby will be changing between swaddles and outfits. I want to make sure that they stay as comfortable as possible.

If you get hot easily, I suggest wearing something cool to the session.

If you purchased a full session, the family portion is last.

You can change into your outfit, if you chose something warm, closer to your portion starting.

Full sessions are a great package to consider when thinking about allotted time.

Full sessions allow us two full hours to photograph (and soothe) baby if they need it.

Some babies come in ready to sleep and some just need a little more time to settle in.

My goal is to always take a gentle and patient approach.

I try to allow for plenty of time for feedings and soothing when baby needs it.

I always want to make sure that both you and your baby feel at ease.
