Years from now, you probably won't remember every test score or assignment, but you'll remember how it felt laughing with your friends on a random Tuesday afternoon.

Take More Pictures

This might sound obvious coming from a photographer, but hear me out.

Take pictures of everything.

Take photos with your friends in the parking lot. Snap a selfie before heading to prom. Take pictures during lunch, at football games, and after school events.

I know some schools are doing away with phones. There has been a large rise in digital cameras and Polaroids. Use them often!

While you're dreaming about the future, your family is quietly realizing that the little kid they once carried around is about to step into adulthood.

Make time for family dinners. Go on that weekend outing. Sit and listen to the stories your parents tell for the hundredth time.
